PROMOTING INDUSTRY STANDARDS

Tuesday Jul 10

In a move to further support the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), NIBE Energy Systems has changed its prerequisites for installers.

The renewable technology supplier will now recognise only MCS accredited installers as approved installers for all NIBE equipment. All persons responsible for the design and installation of NIBE products will be required to be MCS approved installers as a condition of the manufacturer’s warranty. The company says the decision was taken following its development of the first Benchmark scheme for the installation, commissioning and servicing of heat pumps to ensure peak performance.
