Trianco Heating Products, a firm with more than 150 years manufacturing history in Sheffield, has entered into administration.
A spokesperson for the firm says it is too early to identify the reason for the companyfs collapse, but has confirmed that as many as 43 jobs will be lost.
Best known for producing solid fuel and oil-fired boilers, Trianco had in recent years expanded its portfolio to include electric heating and renewable energy products.
In 2001 the company began a modernisation programme that saw investment in new plant and equipment, including a move to new premises in 2004. In 2006 a successful management buyout took place, led by Managing Director Peter Ferguson, placing Trianco under private ownership.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT
Since the closure of the company on 16th July 2010, end users and service engineers will no longer be able to access Triancofs technical help desk. However, an independent website has been created to offer limited technical advice via email. The site can be accessed at http://sites.google.com/site/triancohelp/home and technical questions can be sent to triancomaps@googlemail.com. The website also offers guidance on accessing literature downloads and handling warranty queries.
Trianco Training Services Ltd is not affected by the companyfs entry into administration, as it is an independent company run as a separate enterprise from Trianco Heating Products. Triancofs former Redfyre subsidiary is also unaffected. It demerged from Trianco in 2003 to become part of the@Gazco / Stovax group of businesses.
