Nine newly built two-bedroom houses in Syston, Leicestershire are each benefitting from 24kW Clas boilers, complete with eight-year warranties. The properties are located on the site of an old petrol station, prior to its development by local company DM Construction Ltd.
The new homes were completed in July 2017, with one property already occupied at the time of writing. The Directors at DM Construction Ltd, David Graves and Mohamed Moti, managed the project, while Wigston-based Meadows Plumbing & Heating Ltd installed the boilers throughout the site.
Commenting on Ariston’s products and involvement, Mohamed Moti, Director at DM Construction Ltd, said: “When looking for the right boilers for these properties, we consulted our local merchant for advice and recommendations. They suggested the Clas from Ariston, as not only did the units offer exceptional outputs, they also complied with the necessary SAP requirements. As we had not used Ariston before, we met up with one of their representatives, who explained the many features and benefits of the boilers – and we were very impressed.
“We were particularly interested in the warranties available on the boilers. While we originally thought these would be five-year warranties, we were naturally delighted when Ariston were able to organise and provide an 8-year warranty package. This provided great peace of mind, leaving us reassured about the long-term quality and reliability of the boilers. Plus, our Ariston rep was on hand throughout the project to offer installation advice and technical support whenever we needed it; overall the level of service really was second-to-none.”
Ariston’s range of highly efficient gas-fired boilers boasts user-friendly interfaces, high quality electrical connections and advanced control options. Clas boilers have best-in-class NOx emissions, offering efficiencies of up to 90% and outputs ranging from 24 to 38kW.
Furthermore, all Clas boilers use a proven stainless steel heat exchanger alongside an ‘AUTO’ function, which monitors the ideal temperature for the heating system – reducing peaks in flow temperature and optimising efficiency.
Mohamed concludes: “Installing the boilers was straightforward. In fact, the only issue we had to overcome on this project was removing the original petrol tanks from the site prior to building commencing. Three of them still contained fuel, while the last was full of concrete and required an additional crane to lift it! Everything else was smooth sailing once we’d overcome that obstacle!”
