Clearing the air in Aldwych Quarter

An extensive range of air distribution products from Waterloo Air Products has been installed at Bush House, the former home of the BBC’s World Service. The 300,000ft2 landmark office is located in Aldwych Quarter in London.

The redeveloped site provides offices and ancillary space constructed around a campus-style environment. Each building features contemporary finishes and services within the constraints of the site’s Grade II listed building status.

Waterloo supplied a number of CS linear slot diffusers, DF louvred faced diffusers and plenums throughout each building. The small format continuous slot diffuser series delivers on aerodynamic and acoustic performance. The series offers excellent low flow rate air diffusion characteristics and high air handling capacity and is particularly suited to variable volume applications.

The new HVAC system was installed comprising a combined heating and cooling system to all zones by a ceiling mounted four-pipe variable air volume fan coil system.
