Find a fitter scheme up and running

A new ‘Find a Fitter’ programme has been launched by Showerwall, matching bathroom installers, plumbers and joiners with homeowners seeking professional bathroom wall panelling installation.

Registered installers are required to comply with terms and conditions, which include verifying that they are registered with well-known trade bodies and vetting services, such as Checkatrade. Approved installers will benefit from increased business opportunities in their local area through the listing as well as receiving an enhanced service offering from Showerwall. This includes video guides to help with training and sales, regular product offers and a gift on registration.

With the wall panelling market growing 25% year on year for the past six years, Showerwall says that the Find a Fitter programme has been developed to help bathroom professionals benefit from the growing consumer interest in wall panelling, as a design-led, easy-to-clean and affordable alternative to tiles.

Steph Harris, Product Manager for Showerwall, comments: “Bathroom fitting can be a competitive industry and with more people spending time and money on their homes, the sector is busier than ever. By offering this service we are providing a quick and simple way for consumers to find local fitters within their area to transform their bathrooms.”

Available in a range of designs, Showerwall HPL panels are an easy to fit bathroom wall panelling system. The moisture resistant MDF core and high-pressure laminate surface are designed to deliver a smooth, watertight finish that’s tough, hard-wearing, stain resistant and hygienic. The bathroom wall panels can be fitted by a sole installer in less than a day using simple joinery tools, either by fixing them to a wall or over existing tiles. They are ideal for use in shower enclosures, around baths, behind basins and to create impressive feature walls.
