New research conducted by bed and sleep specialist Time 4 Sleep has shown that tradespeople are struggling to get a decent night’s rest, with 30% of plumbers and electricians saying they get poor sleep quality.
In recent years, attempts to solve sleeping issues have grown more complicated and technological, but despite this, those who say they sleep well put it down to familiar reasons, such as having a good mattress and a healthy lifestyle. A good diet, general health and happiness are also essential to how well people sleep.
Modern attempts to improve sleep quality are significantly less popular. For example, just one in 12 Brits believe that sleep trackers have any impact on sleep quality. Among those who have used the devices, nearly two thirds (62%) believe that they make no difference to how they sleep, or even worsen sleep quality.
