TrackR is a small, coin-sized device that easily attaches to your valuable items. The associated app locates any lost or misplaced item in seconds by via a distance indicator or by Crowd GPS. You can attach it to your keys, wallet, bicycle, pet, or even those valuable tools you don’t want going walkies.
There’s also a handy two-way alert that prevents you from leaving your items. A single phone or tablet can track up to 10 items simultaneously.
TrackR uses a new form of GPS technology called Crowd GPS. When a tagged item goes missing, your smart device will begin to search for the missing item. When another user is near the missing item, that user’s smart device will ping a server to send the GPS coordinates to the registered user. As more people join the network, the more real time GPS updates there are, and the better the Crowd GPS Network works.
Plus, the TrackR app displays the distance between you and your items – letting you know how far away that missing item is. The device lasts for over a year on the battery included with the product, and the coin cell battery is easy to replace when required.
