Guide to merchants’ trading operations

Plumbers merchants across the nation are adjusting to new trading conditions as they seek ways to continue meeting the needs of their installer customers, whether that is continuing with trade counter sales or limiting purchases to telephone and online orders.

For merchants still offering in-branch shopping, installers who visit are asked to observe safety measures, such as maintaining the recommended 2m distance from others, using the supplied hand sanitisers and wipes, and avoiding browsing.

To help our readers find the most convenient way of getting the goods they need to carry essential repairs and maintenance, PHAM News has rounded up the latest operational information from some of the major merchants, with a link for each merchant for more detailed advice.

Plumbase remains open as usual. Regarding deliveries, if an order is from the central warehouse, normal direct delivery services are available, however the cut off time is 4pm for next day delivery.
