Polymer pipework manufacturer Rehau has announced the launch of new sizes for its Rautitan Stabil heating and plumbing multi-layer composite pipe (MLCP).
The pipework will now be available in 50-63mm formats, with new polymer compression sleeves also developed to support these applications. These new sizes in SDR11 pipework are able to achieve a 25% increase in flow rate over its Flex equivalent, while maintaining lower thermal expansion.
Moreover, the solution is still certified up to pressures of 10 bar for increased peace of mind, while compression sleeve technology using no O-rings guarantees security for the installation. The larger 50-63mm sizes are suitable for corridors and risers, and can be used for radiator and drinking water applications.
