Tickets going fast for WIT conference

The organisers of the Women Installers Together conference have announced more details about the upcoming event, taking place on 4 July 2019 in London at the Building Centre.

“Next year we’ll definitely need a bigger venue,” comments organiser Mica May from Stopcocks Women Plumbers. “We’re already in discussion with Monument Tools about this. We really appreciate that the event is able to grow.”

Hattie Hasan, founder of Stopcocks and the WIT conference, is set to be one of the main speakers. She recently received a MERIT award for her work promoting diversity.

The keynote speaker will be Maggie Alphonsi MBE, the face of international women’s rugby and the first ever woman to become a TV commentator on men’s rugby.

There will also be round table discussions, the ‘Famous for Five Minutes’ open mic spots, the usual delicious food and lots of opportunities to meet the event sponsors to find out how they’re supporting women in the industry as well as more about products or job opportunities.

To grab one of the last few tickets, women plumbers, heating engineers and trainees can follow this link https://witconference2019.eventbrite.co.uk.

Sponsors this year are Event Partners, Stopcocks Women Plumbers and Polypipe Building Products; and Headline Sponsors Monument Tools, Graham The Plumbers’ Merchant, British Gas, Impey Showers, Base PPE, Thomas Dudley, Calor Installer, Fernox and Vaillant.

The WIT Conference is on 4th July at The Building Centre, London 10-4, entry strictly by ticket only.
